The Watertown Concert Association was formed in 1937. The WCA is based in Watertown, South Dakota. The purpose of the Association is to cultivate in the residents of Watertown and the surrounding area an interest in quality music and to foster and encourage public appreciation of music and the teaching of music, history of music, and music appreciation in the schools of Watertown and the surrounding area by providing quality concerts at an affordable price.

The Association has been a premier presenter of world class concerts since its inception. These performing artists enrich our lives, expand our minds, and lift our spirits. The concerts are presented for the enjoyment, education and inspiration of local audiences, students and artists. Guided by the conviction that the arts are for everyone, the Association wants to ensure that a broad population has access and exposure to the world's finest performing artists.

Previous artists the association has hosted include: The Canadian Brass, Doc Severinsen, Russian State Chorus, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Maureen McGovern, and The Nutcraker Ballet.
