Hunter Noack
Hunter Noack’s innovative interpretation and presentation of classical music has enabled collaboration with artists of all types. Performing across the US and Europe at venues including the Kennedy Center and Herbst Theatre, Noack has worked as a soloist with the Pasadena Symphony, Thornton Symphony, Sunriver Music Festival, Thornton Concert, and the Eastern Music Festival Orchestras.
Having just completed his undergraduate work with John Perry at USC, Noack frequently composes and records film soundtracks, works with contemporary composers, and creates programs with visual artists in an attempt to more fully engage audiences with the experience of classical music. His goal is to offer audiences an enhanced means of connecting with the music whether through stories about the composer’s cultural milieu, visual art to augment the experience, or creating connections between the music and today’s social issues.
Hunter is a talented and innovative classical pianist with local ties. He is the grandson of Marlene Noack and Lowell Noack (deceased) and Rev. Robert and Sally Overgaard, all long-time residents of Fergus Falls. Hunter is currently studying Piano Performance in Berlin, Germany. The Fergus Falls Concert Association is excited to have him perform in our concert series this year. More information is available at www.HunterNoack.com.
