The Blue Earth Valley Concert Association was organized in 1976 by a group of local citizens who wanted to bring quality entertainment to Faribault County. In addition to the five concerts offered in Blue Earth, our association shares a reciprocity agreement with the Fairmont Concert Association. This enables our members to attend a  total of ten concerts each season.

The goal of the Blue Earth Valley Concert Association is to bring a wide variety of quality music, dance, and ethnic pageantry experiences to the people, young and old, of our rural area at a price and level of convenience which would be unavailable otherwise. By choosing performers of many different aspects of the artistic world we hope to meet the needs and interests of the people in our area. By exposing our members to these artistic and musical forms we aim to broaden the understanding and cultural experiences of our members. In addition, some of the performers booked by BEVCA offer an opportunity to have a workshop for students at the local elementary, middle, or high schools. We feel this helps to enrich and broaden experiences for our young people.

The Blue Earth Valley Concert Association is comprised of all the people who purchase membership tickets each year for the concert series. It is governed by a board of volunteers which represent the area towns in Faribault County.

The fact that BEVCA has been in existence for 40 years attests to the support and need in this area for the arts and the willingness to continue the organization by volunteers and loyal community supporters . If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, please contact Gary Olsen, President.
