The Delta-Montrose Community Concert Association was founded over 7 decades ago to provide to the residents of Delta and Montrose Counties, and beyond, at affordable ticket prices, a wide variety of high-quality professional concerts representing many genres of music.  The objective has been to bring to our rural area, nationally recognized performers with a wide range of vocal and instrumental talents.  Without the Association’s efforts, these musicians would likely be available only to those living in metropolitan areas.

In addition to the outstanding concerts offered for the 2024-25 Season, examples of some of our concerts in the past include: in the 1950s & 60s: Vienna Academy Chorus, Belafonte Folk Singers; 1970s & 80s: Dizzy Gillespie, Four Freshman, Irish Light Orchestra of Dublin; 1990s: New Christy Minstrels; and since 2000: Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats, Work ‘O the Weavers, Church Basement Ladies, Riders in the Sky, Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass, The Limelighters, Sons of the Pioneers, and the Jersey Tenors.

Our programs generally include not only musical numbers, but other treats for the audience such as education about unusual instruments. the visual delight of bright costumes, and the performers’ humorous interaction with the audience – all in all, which makes for an enjoyable evening of entertainment.
